In terms of routines, I would describe myself as a person of habit, as I used the same products over and over for the past few years especially in the exact same order. I like sticking with the same items, products or places if they satisfy me.
however, during these pas few months I found myself growing fond of new restaurant places, beauty product or even a new morning drink.
I initially wanted to do two separate post, one for June and another one for July but they all kind of mesh together, since my june favorites are also now my july favorites. I decided to add a fun dimension to this post by illustrating myself my june + july faves.

When it comes to my favorite beauty products, I just wanted to give some credit to some of my all time favorites. Have been using them for years and probably won’t stop anytime soon.
- Kiehl’s Midnight Recovery Concentrate. I little bit expensive if you. think about the amount of product you get for the price. However it does last a very good amount of time and the results on the skin are absolutely crazy. Plumpy, glowy and hydrated skin all day.
- Lush’s Jasmine and Henna Hair Treatment. I either use this one or the Candy Rain (which is more like a hair conditionner than a mask). I gives me soft and plump curls with a delicious sweet smell.
- Muji’s Toning Water (High Moisture). I have been using this since my early high school years and it never let me down. Such a simple step in my routine that yet makes a huge difference. Also sensitive skin friendly!
- Lush’s Super Milk Condiditioning Hair Primer. It recently got its moment of glory with all the press it got on social media and it is more than justified. Always my first step after I washed my hair. Also use it from time to time to revive my curls.

I had a few favorite clothing these past few months, especially new brands I discovered or work with on set and feel like it deserved it’s own post. Here is however my two currently closet faves.
- My ALL TIME FAVORITE bag. It’s coming EVERYWHERE with me. I am so obsessed with the fringes and the space you have in the bag is crazy. I can carry a MacBook and an iPad, random objects and a note book. It is the Gérard Darel’s 24H Bag (it was gifted hihi).
- A classic pair of timeless Havaianas flip flops. I have had the thin all black ones for years, love wearing them in the city, especially during the heatwave when wearing closed shoes isn’t an option. My favorite pair of shoes every summer. Very basic.

- I drink matcha on a daily but I never know how to properly make it at home, to have a round, well dosed matcha and also I find the matcha powder so expensive. I discovered the brand Daily Matcha that makes matcha capsules that can be used in your regular coffee machine and it changed EVERYTHING. I am obsessed. I ordered the classic matcha and the coconut one (which I prefer). The taste is amazing and it is also a great gift!
- I am a HUGE Chinese hotpot fan. I can eat it all day everyday. It is such a comforting meal and I always feel so happy and full whenever I eat it. I used to go to XiaoLongKan, but lately my favorite has been Auciel.

- Recently discovered this website called Cosmos, thank to my best friend who works in DA. I need to work on a moodboard for a shoot and couldn’t find the proper images to make a decent deck and Cosmos came in handy. Very very good curation and good quality photos. Use it on a daily for work now. So much better than Pinterest, if you ever use it.
- I discovered the Yoga app Down Dog after spending some time with my best friend’s mother, who let me share a yoga session with her and I LOVED it. This is the first time I purchase a subscription through an app and I am so glad I did. I do 30min everyday and it really helped me with anxiety and to get a move on. Really really recommend!! You can personnalise your everyday practice and also the kind of yoga/pilate you want to do. It is never the same practice except if you want to! Love it.
- My trusty Muji House fan (they don’t sell mine anymore, but this is a similar, better version). Very very very much needed with the recent and upcoming heatwave in Paris. It doesn’t make any sound and is very powerful. I purchased it first for my plant, to get them some moving air indoors but it’s really just for me now.
- I have had the best time at bad bunny concert. I never thought I would be able to go but my little sister offered me to come with her. It was so so so so fun. So happy I got to experience that. Very grateful to my sister who also is my concert partner now honestly. She drags me to every concert she can; to my greatest joy < 3
That is all for my June and July favorites recap. I hope you enjoyed the layout of the post, I had a lot of fun doing these illustrations!
I’ll see you guys very very soon, later.
