I am back today with another post about minimalism. In my recent post I talked about having a minimal approach to fashion and I couldn’t just talk about having a minimalist wardrobe without talking about the brands and where to get the clothes! So here is a list of minimalists e-shops and stores I gathered with time.

$ affordable
$$ reasonable
$$$  pricey

★☆☆☆ not so minimalist
★★☆☆ quite minimalist
★★★☆ minimalist
★★★★ minimalist as hell

MUJI
★★★★
$

Muji is a well known Japanese brand which image is based on minimalism and utility. This is for me the ultimate brand for minimalism. From clothes, to homeware and stationary. Everything is so aesthetically pleasing. Their products have very good quality and fair prices.

AIN HAWAII
★★★★
$$

Ain Hawaii is a Korean clothing brand proposing the prettiest and simplest designs. They have so many options and they ship worldwide. From what I read, the quality is really good and same for the fit. I still haven’t bought anything from them yet because I haven’t been able to do online shopping for a while but this brand is on top of my wishlist.

COS
★★★★
$$ or $$$

COS is a fashion brand ‘who want modern, functional, considered design’. Their clothes items are timeless and actually all you need in your wardrobe. To be honest, I think the prices are sometimes excessive but this brand definitely worth the hype. And you should visit one of their many stores, everything is so modern and luminous.

MIJEONG PARK
★★★★
$$$

Mijeong Park is a Korean/American clothing brand created in 2015. The clothes are a mix of neutral tones and modernity. Like COS, the brand offers classic and timeless pieces for your wardrobe. The best part is that Mijeong Park donates ‘5% of online sales to elementary art education in areas of Los Angeles with the highest need’.

HELMUT LANG
★★★★
$$$

Helmut Lang is an Austrian clothing brand with simple but refined designs.  Most of the clothes are made with high-tech fabrics giving intellectual designs and elegant silhouettes.

LUNYA
★★★★
$$$

Lunya is a loungewear brand, specialized in high quality sleepwear. They propose a lot of different fabrics and designs with a beautiful minimal color palette.

YEEZY
★★★★
$$$

Yeezy is a clothing brand created by Kanye West. To me this is the definition of minimalism today. Most of the items are monochrome, no print. The quality seems really good and I just love the overall concept. The only downside, the price, to be honest I can’t even afford a basic t-shirt.

COMME DES GARCONS
★★★★
$$$

Comme des Garçons is a Japanese brand very famous among the street style and minimal fashion worlds. The red heart is everywhere during fashion week but don’t get it wrong. CDG isn’t only about converses, it is also about well structured items and amazing fabric choice, as well as the re-invention of our wardrobe essentials.

MAISON MARGIELA
★★★★
$$$

Maison Margiela is a big name in the minimalism world. I love their deconstructive and avant-gardists designs, they are a must for a minimal wardrobe.

A.P.C
★★★☆
$$$

This brand has always been eco-conscious and uses durable fabrics and is working on being even more respectful for the environment by finding new fabrics and by accepting back clothes at their store, like a charity would.

ACNE STUDIOS
★★★☆
$$$

I feel like A.P.C and Acne Studios are quite similar style wise. Their jeans are on my wishlist since 2015. I love the detail with the visible label at the back. In overall everything is very polish, well structured and the fabrics are especially created for the Sweden house.

MOUSSY
★★☆☆
$$

Moussy is a Japanese brand who is famous for their premium denim. You will find a lot of affordable everyday essentials, and I feel like everything is unisexe, like you can really style it easily, not matter who you are. All of the designs and colors are paying homage to the Japanese heritage of the brand.

CARHARTT
★★☆☆
$$$

Carhartt is known for being a workwear brand, which means the fabrics are made to last. Their color palette is really centered on earthy tones and navy blue which is an great way to add minimalism to your wardrobe because these colors are really easy to style and wear.

UNIQLO
★★☆☆
$

Uniqlo is like a mix of Muji and and Weekday. They are mostly minimalists designs and items but you can also find capsule collections including lots of graphic t-shirts. The quality is on point too.

CALVIN KLEIN
★☆☆☆
$$ or $$$

I mostly recommend Calvin Klein for their underwear and sleepwear. I love wearing them, the fabric is perfect and I love the big elastic at the waist. And since I don’t have much boobs, sport bras are my essentials.

and that’s it for my minimal e-shops list, well these aren’t only e-shops, you can find some stores in your city but for people who don’t live in big cities, they can still purchase online and almost all of the shops above ship worldwide, so, good shopping.

I know a few more minimal shops but I am searching for more so tell me if you know any, same for the sustainable brands!
